as a designer, yes the process matters and it’s the fun part. but most of the end users don’t care about all that. and if the end product doesn’t align with what people expect, you’ve really missed the assignment.

I am living proof that one can live without Amazon and I’m a dad of 2 special needs kids with time and budget constraints. There are alternatives if we are willing to use them. I live without intentionally using Google too. Considering not getting the Volvo EX60 because it is so Google integrated.

we’re pretty sure this day nurse who called off will likely quit. It’s her second time in 2 weeks and is complaining of back pain. Kid needs lifting for position changes. If she quits, we’ll be back down to 4 week day coverages and that is it: 40 hours covered out of a possible 168. 23.8%

Yep. Your #EV battery will be just fine. I've long relied on Recurrent as the best source of battery data, and their database just gets larger + longer. In the absence of every EV maker releasing its own battery ... which ain't gonna happen ... they're my go-to.

Yesterday's $70 of gas was for my daughter's accessible van that was purchased for roughly $80k. That much fuel would take us about 350 miles. Similarly, our Rivian was valued at $80k, has similar if not worse aero can go 1160 miles on $70 of electricity. It is expensive to be disabled.

I have a hard time when people are such staunch supporters of only 1 or 2 types of transportation, eg bikes or subways, that they completely forget the needs of everyday life: it differs from person to person and place to place. Every mode of transport matters, we should choose based on our needs.
