Finished #ofthedevil episode 2! I like how Morgan's... extracurricular activities... are incorporated more this time. Lots of cool new characters & locations! But the best addition is the banger character themes when Morgan & Emma turn the tables on each other. Now onto the wait for episode 3...

Finished chapter 1 (& 0) of #ofthedevil & enjoyed it a lot! The Ace Attorney influences are clear, but it sets itself apart with a fleshed out cyberpunk setting & cool gambling aesthetics/mechanics. After the typical everyman AA protag, it's refreshing to have one that's more sharp & cynical.

My Silksong experience so far:

Feeling very validated for my choice to use completely separate buttons for healing and special attacks (spells, basically) in this game, after it seems Team Cherry made a similar design decision for Silksong.

Between Prime 4 and Silksong, I have to admit this was not the high-profile-metroidvania-that-seems-destined-to-never-come-out I expected to be released first. Regardless... SILKSONG!!!

For my serious thoughts on Metroid Prime 4: It's looking great! Interesting that it's going a similar route to Prime 2 and 3 where most of the new abilities/suits are based around a central theme. Dark and light in 2, phazon/hypermode in 3, and now the psychic powers in 4.

They're going above and beyond with these new regional variants. #Metroid
