Health update: Getting discharged today. I'm doing OK. Going to be 6-8 weeks for a full recovery.

Health update: Had my surgery yesterday and everything went well. I'm going to spend at least a few days in the hospital. All I got to do is relax and heal. I'd like to thank everyone for their support during these difficult times.

Talked with one of the doctors doing my surgery. She told me before I'm allowed to leave after my surgery I'll need to fart. My doctors want me to fart. Tell your kids, they'll love it.

Health update: My blood test are good. My scans showed some things we'll need to keep an eye on, but they could just be a result of the chemo. More scans scheduled. My second surgery is still on track.

Health update: My scan today showed my anastomosis is still healed. This means my second surgery can happen and after this is all done I'll be able to enjoy popcorn at the movies, salads at restaurants, and apples again. More test Friday.

The Dream Machine, the arcade of my youth, is finally closed. Granted is was on its 3rd location in the Walpole mall and the stopped having the fighting games, beat 'em ups, and rail shooters I spent many quarters on long ago it's still sad to see it gone.

Health update: today was the final infusion. All my test were good. I just take my at home chemo pills for this week and next. 2 week from now I have a week of tests that make things alot clearer. Physically I'm ok, but mentally I'm still struggling.

Watching the final movie trivia schmoedown and @kevsmets.bsky.social winning the title after he battled colon cancer gives me hope as someone fighting the same battle against colon cancer.

I find myself weirdly nostalgic about shows that used to exist on youtube. Namely Screen Junkies Movie fights, Schmoes Know Movie Show, and Movie Trivia Schmoedown. Shows where people would show up to a studio and make a show. Now every simulator show is made in a person's house.

It was great to be back doing commentary.

Shout out to @jwonggg.bsky.social for openly talking about getting a his colon checked with @ifcyipes.bsky.social in their video for evofgc on youtube. As person currently fighting colon cancer, getting it detected early was a big help. And shout out to Yipes for not being judgmental about it.

Health update: All my test were good. Headaches have gotten better. Physically I feel fine. I did talk to my doctor about my mental health and we're talking steps to improve that. Just one more infusion after this and then just tests followed by my second surgery.

Health update: My tests are ok. 6 of 8 infusions down. I going to have an mri and visit a neurologist about the headaches, but the don't expect to find anything wrong. I visit the surgeon next week and will have a timetable as to when anything gets back to normal.
