It’s been at least four years since we’ve been on this side of a river, but Milla remembered it very well and loved it. I’m always impressed by her memory when visiting places we’ve been years before. #husky

The local lake is now frozen and snow covered! We took a walk out to it last night at dusk with the color-changing light-up collars. Phone camera was way too happy to make it look like normal daytime, so you'll have to imagine it a bit darker, and the collars brighter.

Today was a nice sunny late-fall day for a quick hike around Whitetail Woods! We had the pups on flexi leads to give them plenty of room for exploring and pouncing! Zeena did a bit of cute pronking through the tall grass on the lookout for mouses, which of course we failed to get on video!

Another loop around Shaar's Bluff at Spring Lake Park as a round of autumn warmth moves through. Zeena was particularly in her element, pouncing everything she could hear in the grasses at the farthest end of her flexi leash!

Just another quick hike at Lebanon Hills this afternoon as a break to get away from the computer. Fall colors, sounds and scents are starting to build!

Apparently, every first Wednesday of the month, 1 PM, there's a coyote party at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Sadly, neither Zeena or Tonttu could be convinced to join in. #huskies #coyotes
