1/3 Last week we had the privilege of hosting @nephrotox.bsky.social Dr Josh King (Univ Of Maryland) as a Visiting Professor at Ochsner Medical Center. The visit started with a wonderful talk for our Nephro Dept on removal of toxins/poisons with extracorporeal therapies. Everybody was very engaged!

We also had a very special & rare visitor yesterday @AzPDIC ➡️ Naja kaouthia (leucistic). This ‘lil fella is particularly feisty. In previous video/pic attempts it kept striking at me & hitting the glass so, I backed off 🏃🏻‍♂️💨🐍

Yesterday, we also tubed a Banded Egyptian Cobra (Naja annulifera).🌵🐍🏜️
