More progress on Invasion Anarchy for the #amiga - I drew a single frame of an alien to test with, wrote the alien sequencer, score and text code. No collisions defined levels or sound yet; In this video I pulse the background where the sequencer should be playing a sound.

Finished writing the weapon systems for Invasion Anarchy on the #amiga. The new system is only limited by the number of hardware sprites I want to use and should give me a bit of flexibility in adding extra weapons to the game, something missing from the #c64 version.

I did some more coding on Invasion Anarchy, my #commodore64 #Craptastic2024 4k game, rearranging the interrupt code to start the multiplexer a little earlier in the frame to avoid flicker when things get busy. In the process, I saved a few bytes, the game is now 4065 bytes.

The core of my #commodore64 4k craptastic game entry is now fully playable with a functional title/game/game over loop, so I can work on cleaning it up and balancing the difficulty curve before adding additional features. Currently compressing to 3910 bytes out of 4096, so getting tight. #c64

While working on a #c64 craptastic 4k competition entry, I fixed a bug in the sprite multiplexer I wrote around 4 years ago, which was causing it to glitch out in certain circumstances. Perhaps I should release a fix for Dodonuts. #c64 #commodore64
