Automatic controller detection and button remapping, just by plugging it in, even mid-game 😎 This controller support stuff is hard to test as an indie dev, so we'll have to see how it goes when it's public. Also I haven't got a DualShock to test yet... #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame #ValerieGame

I took my game Valerie to Rapture Gaming Festival this weekend, it was great! I got to meet and chat with other developers, and got to try out the new (very different) first section of the game on new players. I'm excited to finish and release that demo soon! #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame

I think some of my main takeaways from #GDLX are (1/2): • Make the tutorial area less challenging • Add diagrams to show how actions should be done • Add more interesting story tidbits to the first section, because all of that is given quite late atm #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame

I added a "Floor is Lava" mode to my game, it's fun... The only thing you can stand on is the platform objects, and it has extra objects throughout like the bubbles to help you get by. #gamedev | #indiedev | #indiegame

I was watching a playthrough recently where someone got a cannon to spawn 1000s of identical spiky balls in the same spot... they just happened to initiate the thought bubble frame-perfectly. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame
