Kalamazoo recently broke ground on 48 units of affordable housing with recovery services! The campus was renamed the William Schma House after Judge Schma, who helped bring drug treatment courts to Michigan. KZCF is proud to have invested $3M alongside the coalition that made it happen. 💙 💚

KZCF’s President/CEO, Dr. Grace Lubwama, recently hosted our second annual Celebration of Heritage Dinner with professionals from Kalamazoo’s African diaspora. The dinner was a beautiful celebration of African culture and a reminder of the importance of building a legacy in this community.

In 1980, an F3 tornado tore through Kalamazoo, leaving five lives lost, 79 injured and $50M in destruction. Kalamazoo came together to rebuild, and Kalamazoo Community Foundation was proud to be a part of that work. 100 years of impact means being here for all of it. 💙💚
