Very happy I got my "self-hosted" website up with an actual webpage this time (tried it in like 2021, but it was a single line html). But now it's time to actually learn what I need and set up the site to make it useful beyond hosting links. Make a blog, a gallery, some useful instances, etc.

I really want to do a longer comic with Steve Giles. Got the ideas bubbling. I was surprised with the first comic with how it impacted people and made them emotional. I want to maintain my same working goals as last time, where I'm not striving for that, but I still want to poke a certain archetype.

Wish I had that super power that allowed me to read more than 4 comics a day or more than 30 minutes of shows or games when I have the time, which I kinda do.

I hate when someone interprets the opposite of what I've said and I make them offended. Then even if we sort things out, I still feel like I've done something wrong or have twisted the meaning of what I said in my own head to better unoffend them.

I've been trying to read most From the Ashes 616 X-Men comics that have been getting released. Only really got into comics last year. But it is fascinating reading these stories that all reference and are about post Krakoa, when I never that arc.

Mid 2010's political Tumblr was mostly early 20s and teenagers. BS discover tab seems to be 30s to 50s. I don't think Tumblr people grew into these BS people cause I feel a lot of Tumblr people got sick of politics. But I do feel the Tumblr migration radicalized the old people on Twitter though.

Deep Space Nine is a shounen battle manga and I will not elaborate.

My favorite dream mechanic I've noticed is that it's clear that u can't actually visualize people. Stare at their features, and you realize their hands are morphing. When I remember online friends in dreams, I remember them as their online avatar, not as a fully formed person.

I just had one of my worst and most intense nightmares of my life, and the whole duration of the dream, I was listening and intently following the deathless castlevania livestream I fell asleep to.

It's so frustrating to have a comic collection that got a reprint only last year being sold on ebay for twice its MSRP. Hey, "The Orderly Iowan," how are you able to sleep at night profiting off of rich, stupid, and careless comic nerds?
