Had a stressful time with an essay that took me the entirety of Saturday to write. Worried I goofed it up. Just checked my grade. B- I’m happy with that!

Bruh my medical bills from my appendix emergency at 30k before insurance and I have no idea how much it’ll cover….

I thought on it and I think Midnight Moon is being shelved indefinitely bc no matter how many re writes and edits I do, it just seems wrong. So, that one just may never see the light of publishing at all.

It’s already concrete that I am indie publishing Hybrid Dragon Rider, BUT Midnight Moon and Bound By Fate may just end up on wattpad or something. Idk.

I may post a preview of one map I’m working on tomorrow. We’ll see.

Think I’ll get a bit more worldbuilding done tomorrow.

Sneezing while still healing from an appendectomy is NOT FUN

I did manage to do a little more writing today, and tomorrow I should be able to do more before I have to go anywhere.

It’ll be nice when I don’t have to rely on pain meds to move more comfortably. 🥴

For some reason the hospital still had me in their system as in surgery. Like bruh. I did not have a three day appendectomy 😆 got it sorted though.

I’ve not done much writing today, mostly just needed to rest. I’ll see how I’m doing tomorrow and go from there.

Of course I slept thirteen hours last night and yet still need a nap 😴

Need a break from HDR. Gonna work on Midnight Moon and experiment on writing it in 3rd person with multiple POV’s, cuz why not?

Guess who has to have special lenses for glasses bc when they did the alignment test on my eyes, they were quite off. 🥲

Also I think my writing is stalling out bc I’m suddenly doubting that anyone will have any interest or if I’m just writing hot garbage 🥴

Got stuck, decided to turn ProWritingAid on and do some chapter 2 edits before I pass it along to my friend for her edits.

I am worried I won’t hit the 50k by the end of the month…I’m gonna keep trying but it has been a struggle. We shall see how close I get.

I love worldbuilding while drafting the book. It seems to go better in conjunction with writing the draft rather than doing them separately.

Due to the way my schedule was today, I am gonna be playing catch up on HDR again tomorrow. I’m not too worried bc my schedule will allow for a better writing flow.

Getting to make up species for my book is one of the best parts about writing fantasy.
