Just popped into the posh people's supermarket aka waitrose, for some Christmas treats. They're absolutely useless, the carpark looks like a range rover showroom, there's a strong whiff of estee lauder, but not much stock. Better luck and less financial hurt down the co-op.

Went to work to find a work email, that I can only access from work saying no need to come in today as the thing that was happening had been cancelled. 🤔🤷‍♂️🙃 yes dear reader, they do have my phone number!

Because its Christmas my work hours have changed slightly, it means having to interact with people. This would be bad enough, but Christmas seems to make people go even more crazy than usual.

I love an old house, sometimes over Christmas when I was little I got to stay in my local manor house. It was full of ghosts, wonderful sounds and smells.

Just me at work, cleaning the old chapel in a church, all the entrance doors are locked, suddenly a strong smell of Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers, and then the distant sound of a door latch. 😯

Over Christmas I'll be with my brother in law, Niece's, Nephew and their families. We will be celebrating my sister's life and making plans for the scattering of her ashes. I've also decided where I'll be ending up when the time comes. I now find myself more settled than I have been in months.
