5. There are so many! There was one that TVline had as a quote of the week and I texted him congratulations. In 108, the lines written were, "I can make ocean noises." "I use white noise." "I can do that." "You are white noise." So keeping the rhythm "I can make white noise" was all him. 😀

1. That's an interesting question. I can't answer it without spoiling things but I'll revisit this question at the end of the season. Remind me then!

5. I didn't do a bible... just had some character sketches and boarded the season before I started writing. My guy JP Meier did a great job of being sort of the human bible of the show and keeping any important facts in his head so we could say "oh yeah, we already covered that."

4. They all influenced their characters as we went along. They are a really upbeat, funny, fun, up-for-anything cast and I'm sure their characters reflect that more and more as the series progresses.

3. I think so but I don't know all 327 episodes like the back of my hand. (That episode "The Monster At The End of This Book" was awesome... I know that.)

2. We don't have any of Jensen's original music on the show because it would be weird to have Mark Meachum running around while Jensen Ackles is singing over it. But he had some cool ideas for some bands that did make it into episodes. The last song in episode 12 was his idea.

1. Excellent question. The most difficult to write is a tie between the first one... always hard to get a series going with a combo of character introductions plus plot plus twists... the other one that was hard to write is 10 for reasons you will understand in a month or so. 😬

Hey, it's finally here! Countdown starts today! For your reward waiting this long, here is a photo from the read-through last September when we all barely knew each other. I hope you enjoy the first three episodes and I'll answer five questions on Sunday.

5. There is one that the post team put together for our wrap party and it is hilarious. It has spoilers so would have to come out after the series airs. Maybe we can make that happen!

3. A task force has no minimums nor limits, so I thought it would be cool to contract or expand the team as the case progresses. Seven seemed like the right number to launch because that's a lucky number. (Except in the case of episode 7... for some characters.)

2. That's two questions! a) Mark's fight was on the first day of filming. It was 114 degrees. It was probably 85 percent Jensen and 15 percent stunt double. It's hard to keep Jensen from doing his own fights/stunts. b) I told everyone "shhhhhhh" and gave them the death stare.

1. Great question. I would love to say I know... but sometimes the cast picks things they like for their character... type of watch or ring, firearm, etc., and I like to incorporate what they choose. I'll ask and get back to you.
