For such a smooth record it’s weirdly not easy to listen to. It’s interesting though.

So fond of the ballads from Control and Rhythm Nation. Such a lush sound.

Heard this in a restaurant last week and it sounded so good

in re Scott Walker, of late the album that I come back to the most is "Climate of Hunter," which can be as weird & unsettling as Tilt & The Drift at times. Its pristine high-end Eighties sound is as if Scott's seized control of a Dire Straits record

Heard this over lunch in a sushi restaurant (Sushiyama on Main, when it was good. Maybe in 2010?) and remembered the lyrics to look it up later. Great song.

This happened to be playing alongside a brunch bingo I was at today. Caller noted how tense it made the whole scene

Maybe the Cocteau album I’ve listened to the most over the last decade. It’s so good. Might be the purest form of what they did. Although my favourite will always be Heaven or Las Vegas.
