#NoEstimates doesn’t mean no deadlines—it means using real data instead of guesses. Track cycle times, reduce variability (but not entirely), and you’ll forecast deadlines with confidence. Aim for consistency, and your team will thrive while hitting targets.

If you get to a performance review and you are surprised by the outcome. I’ve not done my job as a manager. There should be plenty of feedback loops during the time leading up to your review so it effectively becomes a summary of the conversations we’ve already had.
