This is Masuke at around 5 years old (he’s now 17) He weighed over 7kg back then. I forgot to film our walk this morning...

I’m off to TWICE’s concert at the National Stadium today. I’ve got everything I need, so I’m going to have a great time (I’ve got work in the morning).

I heard that dogs live longer if they eat strawberries, so I gave Masuke a few.

Masuke’s test results are in, and it turns out his heart, kidney and liver values have deteriorated since last year. The vet mentioned his age, and whilst I understand that rationally, it’s still quite upsetting. If anyone has been through a similar experience, please do share your story.

I’m Masuke, 17 years old. I’m feeling great again this morning! I had a health check-up yesterday and was advised to do some exercise, so I went for a slightly longer walk this morning.

The health check-up is over! It seems my right kidney isn’t functioning properly. There was also some atrophy in my hind legs. Given my age, it’s to be expected that there might be some issues. I’ll do my best to help ensure I live a long life.

There were loads of insects, which took me a bit by surprise. They’re still going strong this morning!
