Got a fast walk in (for me) 4.5 miles at 15 min/34 sec per mile. Rain is expected this afternoon and in and off for the rest of the week. The picture is taken at Memorial Park. The brown and green bone dry grass is covered with crunchy gold leaves as sunlight filters through the treetops.

Sam and dad walked local at Robertson Nature Preserve again. It was only 75 degrees but it was ultra humid with very little breeze. And Sam doesn’t like weather other than perfect weather very much. So it was a grumpy Sam walk. But he was able to do 1.5 miles.

Another fun picture of Sam a decade or so ago. We took a break while hiking the Ohio & Erie Towpath Trail to check out the Dover Dam along the Tuscarawas River.

It was cooler with a breeze on the morning walk. I went to Oenslager Nature Preserve, not close to home but not far.

I lost my glasses very efficiently this morning only having to retrace steps .3/10ths of a mile before finding them in the middle of the trail.

4-mile walk this morning in much cooler weather, starting out almost completely blue, but skies became cloudier later keeping it cool.

Back when Bob was still mobile.

Bunny in the backyard. That’s the shadow of the house which is very angular. So it’s weird that the rabbit rests in a shadow that looks like the upper portion of a heart shape.

I saw plenty of chipmunks and bunnies. This was an 8am walk and plenty of large birds were out including swans (I counted 10) dozens of geese and only a few ducks, too far away to get a pic. I did see some small yellow butterflies, though.

I was luckier today finding some animals who kept great company on the walk. They don’t talk back.

I did a 4-mile (round trip) from Chippewa along the Chippewa Inlet trail to Buckeye Woods Park and back. I gave thanks for the working water bubbler (it was not last time I was there). It’s steamy yet again.

Overnight oats are done. It’ll keep me going in the morning into next week. Is there a benefit to making them the night before? I always have more time in the morning to get things done.
