Brilliant night representing Worcestershire on behalf of Visit Britain and Visit Worcestershire on Monday. These were American luxury FIT travel agents searching for authentic places in Britain to visit. Lygon Arms was a great venue. Marvellous!

Sometimes you start the day not k owing what to do. And some days your late harvest wine ferment decides to triple in speed overnight. Cue emergency action to stop the ferment 😮💨

Botrytised Kerner doing the rounds online (20k views, 600 likes). Hopefully the resulting wine will be just as popular! Departing from our usual Siegerrebe, to make something even sweeter and richer than our Brigid (Kabinett Kerner)

Taking some time off feels weird after 8 weeks of non stop adrenaline. In the meantime, our last bunches of Kerner are developing some welcome botrytis so that we can attempt a late harvest wine

Straight after harvest (💀) I headed to Faun Wine to launch Taste Worcestershire with a room of influencers. We sped through 5 wines paired with delicious canapés. Fabulous evening! Always nice to see your wine being enjoyed in a beautiful setting

Of the many things achieved today, pressing Pinot was one of them. 2 harvests this week, and we’re buying some more Pinot from just up the road. Nearly finished (harvest) 😮💨

After a long couple of weeks of harvesting & winemaking, a tour wasn’t high on my list of things to do. But always a pleasure to speak to wine lovers. Freya drinking beautifully. 17.5g/L feeling spot on

Little write up of wine gb tasting over on insta In short: Sparklings consistent, if uninspiring. Some great. Most repetitive. Stills were harmed by recent vintages. Some shone. Most have been/could have been better. Top wines by biddenden (surprisingly), Langham & Hugo.

Early & casual birthday celebrations thanks to a particularly crazy weekend. A standard bottle of LR, but with some good age to it. A poor man’s vintage champagne. 2018 Torbreck (for the third time). Solid steak wine. And one of “my” presents. We play so much that it’s worth it. Wine gb tomorrow
