The Señor Coconut mix of Nurse With Wound's "(I don't want to have) Easy Listening Nightmares" is really nice. It manages to capture the spirit of both projects in a really slick way. I am impressed.

Penal Colony. There was a time when we used to chase this band around. I am sure we drove them mad. They seemed so unique and intense. I think in some ways they were. But I feel like everything I liked about them got swallowed by production by the time the music was released.

over the years, many times, I have thought to myself a track sounds nice, only to learn it is The Field or mixed by The Field. That sometimes-seemingly boring repetitiveness creeps in, in the best of ways.
