A friend recommended that, as a fan of Agatha Christie, I should try her novels written under the pseudonym of Mary westmacott. I have just finished the 1930 giants bread novel. What a wonderful story; complex, almost Greek in tragic plot. I really enjoyed it.

My new reading challenge is to read all the Fleming bond novels in order of publication. I am making my way through book 2 live and let die. Published in 1954. The language used is of a very different time.
