My wife is home and the surgery went as well as possible. Thank you for the prayers and positive thoughts.

Prayers could be used today. My wife is currently in surgery to have a toe and and part of her foot amputated.

Took my wife to the Dr. Yesterday because her foot was infected again. She is home, but has surgery on Monday to amputate her small toe and a portion of her left foot.

And with that Gymnastics competition is over until next fall. The twins each did okay at State. 1 would qualify for Regionals the other missed by .125 AA score. But we will not be going.

One snow drift rose is having an identity crisis.

We have Sunflowers again. And all of these are from seeds that fell from lasts years plants. We didn't sow any sunflower seeds at all.

Anyone know of remote work OT&E or data analytics position either civilian or gov contract that will be opening in January or February? Sorry I am seriously getting disheartened by the job market within a commuting distance of here and moving is the last possible option.

Update: We left the Hospital "AMA" on Saturday night. The doctors weren't listening or giving us any information. Then ~1 mile from the hospital we were hit in a roundabout. Now today we find out tests showed she very likely had a heart attack during here reaction.

OMG he is now comparing the current SECDEF to Marshall. They are nowhere near in the same league.

Update: She is being admitted and was in in the first stage of Sepsis. Unfortunately, she also had an incident of Vancomycin Infusion Reaction or RMS. This has been a "fun" afternoon/night.

Well today is a wash. One of the twins has an appointment that is an hour away from the school. So I have to pick her up when I would be going to the office and then by the time we are done and back it will basically be time to pick the other two up from school.

Currently sitting in the ER. Felt a pop in my shoulder yesterday and now I can barely move my arm and the forearm and two fingers are getting tingly/numb

Kids ran upstairs screaming they saw a raccoon last night. We calmed them and said we believed them. Well an hour later I went down to get a snack and caught this guy eating out of the dog food container. Time for a locking bin.

Just got home from spending the last 4 days at the hospital with my wife. Please if a family member is Diabetic especially type 1 check thier feet daily. We got lucky and caught her infected ulcer before it got to the bone.

Happy New Years to all. I will not be making any resolutions this year. I will though be working on preparing for retirement early 2027, trying to be a better husband and father, restarting the pack cracking project (some time soon), and enjoying these cinnamon rolls.
