Getting a write-up for not turning in lesson plans on time when the curriculum is literally scripted out in terms of scaffolding, standards, and pacing… got me so upset. It’s irritating to work in a school that values paper compliance over classroom impact. My exit plan on the way.

My energy is so low, and I have 2 more finals to knock out, a demanding teaching job to juggle where they prioritize dumbass paper work over real impact , my kid’s grades and holiday school events. I’m gonna be torn DOWN by next Friday.

I just want someone to love me. Someone who sees me. Someone who sees the things I’ve been thru and don’t run. I don’t wanna hear shit about self love. I love myself and I still ache for a partner. Idc.

Sometimes I think about how my lsat score probably would’ve been way higher if I wasn’t crying for 2 hrs straight before I took the test due to a technical issue with the testing software lol. That was more traumatic than the exam itself.

In my experience, critical thinking is what optimizes the use of chat gpt, because quite often, I find myself analyzing its responses and redirecting its errors. If you just blindly accept everything that chat gpt tells you, you are prob being misguided a little.

Well, I’ll be writing allll day.

My study habits are so strange. I’m working on my third degree and still can’t bring myself to start papers before the last minute. It’s something about a looming deadline that gets me going. I get so many ideas when it’s do or die.

Bought a used car the other day. It’s a small hatchback that didn’t even have 10k miles on it. I coulda went with more aesthetic choices, but I wanted something that was just enough for me. After months of renting cars and ride sharing, I’m so happy!

Trying to find the balance between holding my child accountable and trying not to make her be some perfectionist who resents me later in life. It’s hard.

Anywho, only had this thought cuz I’m finally hanging my bachelor’s degree on the wall after two years of living in my crib.

I mean, my struggle looks nothing like it used to. I live in a nice home, I eat the food I want to eat 99% of the time, and I make enough to manage my bills. I’m not balling but I’m okay. But it has taken a lot of pivoting and reconfiguration. Still not where I feel like I can coast a lil bit yet.

I mean, I have a copy of my transcript for employment purposes, but the actual certificate has never been in my possession.

The fact that I haven’t seen my master’s degree certificate at all since I graduated three years ago is probably the biggest indicator of the fact that I just been in survival mode for so long. I have moments like these where I think about it briefly then get back to surviving.
