How is this the top story on BBC News when we have two different attempts to start World War 3 in Poland and the Middle East, plus Mandelson doing a massive Mandelson yet again

Indefensible and made worse by the fact that Starmer stood up for him at PMQs. Now if he sacks him the question is 'well did this come up in the vetting you say you did?'

British NIMBYism is truly a sight to behold. “We are rejecting this solar farm, because one time I saw an electric vehicle on fire, which reminded me that decades ago a coal mining disaster killed lots of children”.

Great race so far. Really good driving at the front, or maybe my perspective on how you drive at Monza has been affected by those ridiculous F2 highlights

This is an excellent piece. I was at BCU until April (left for another job, not part of either redundancy scheme), the atmosphere was garbage at the time and according to my colleagues has only gotten worse.

If we do stay up this season it'll be off the back of the midfield. Tanaka, Stach and Ampadu all excellent, and quality like Longstaff and Gruev in reserve. They rarely missed a beat tonight

Being a grumpy dickhead on Grill the Grid is such bad vibes (Norris). Have a bit of fun with it! And yes of course Raikkonen always got a pass because his sulking was funny.

I voted for this government. I wanted it to win. And I am absolutely sickened by the way senior ministers have repeatedly refused to challenge hard right talking points, choosing instead to demonise some of the most vulnerable people in the country. If they want me to be nicer they should do better.

Sorry, but why are we wasting time worrying about teens on TikTok when clearly the real at-risk group was right-wing adults on X. Am not sure Prevent was really designed for that, alas…

Needs a full clearout of the political operation at No 10. Not a whiff of strategy and managed to hurl this back into the news just as it had died down a bit.

The absolute nerves of steel of Anisimova to have match points on serve, get broken, and then immediately break back to knock out the red hot favourite for the title. Incredible.

Once again it’s amazing that the government intervenes about 1,300 jobs at risk at Lotus cars who sold a piffling 12k cars to rich people last year but is happy to let the Higher Education sector with 400,000 employees die on its arse. Labour intervene when MANLY jobs are at risk you see

Surely that needs to be a one race ban for Verstappen, it's not even comparable to Vettel/Hamilton because it's a live track at racing speeds, not behind the safety car.
