So a very mortifying thing happened to me today. I was walking through the local park and the local football team were playing against some other village. The ball went out and came towards me. I tried to kick it and missed. I went to get it and kick it back, and sliced it parallel to the pitch.

Bluesky reminds me of twitter. It has the good bits, but unfortunately also the worst bits too. And as I argued years ago this was inevitable. The reason is that bluesky cares about scale, not community, and that focus on scale will always kill the cozy community vibe.
