Morning lap-rounds underway

Dinner vigil has commenced.

I’m being requested to put my stupid work away and rub his belly (for the fifth time today).

Tight hug Tuesday.

Happy resting-fang-face Monday.

This the way to relax after dinner.

Started his day with a little scritch-scratch of the ol’ noggin.

Had a manicure, a brushing, and a nice pinch of catnip today. Feeling good.

I’m trying to read. He is going bonkers!

Scuppers waiting for our bedtime routine, crouched outside the bathroom door with his fav toy (a hairband). He wants a hug and then for me to flip his hairband down into the dark basement so he can hunt for it.

We are handling Monday very calmly.

Mackers pouncing faster than my camera can handle. Whip-fast.

Sometimes I like to rub my whiskery chin on their heads. Why? Because they do it to me. But this always prompts them to undertake a very vigorous head-cleaning operation. I’m moderately insulted.

When he wants more belly rubs, he gets off my lap, goes around behind me, then tromps down my chest and back to my lap. He will repeat this until sufficient belly rubs are delivered. Don’t ask me how this behavior started.

Brothers can be pillows *and also* blankets.

Came home. Found this lump in the center of my chair. Had to perch myself on a tiny edge.

The day so far: Breakfast? Check Belly rub? Affirmative Lap nap? Underway; confidence levels are high How are you all doing?

Time to commune quietly.

We got back from a trip, so Mackers has been going back and forth between our laps.

The proper house cat keeps the trains running on time.

Guest appearance: harbor seal sleeping in our dinghy last night. Left a mess this morning. Oy!

Part of his bedtime routine is a big scrunchy hug. He kind of insists on it.

They think it’s time for their favorite person to start getting ready for bed.

Their work keeps getting better and better.

Rudely pushed his brother off my lap because of an urgent ear itch.

Couldn’t find Mackers when I came home. Tracked him to his new fav hidey-hole.

New invention: a pillow that washes your head!

First touch of autumn colors

Bit of a daydream.

Local expert cat (black belt, 6th dan) demonstrates “cat nap pose” for edification of other cats, using the “napping while pretending to nap”technique. Note: head up, ears alert, eyes closed. Body full of pung energy without tension. Paws clean, claws well trimmed. Awesome! Thank you, teacher!

Had dinner, caused some trouble, was duly chastised, took nap to shake it off, forgot about it, ready for belly rub. In other words, in the groove.

Listening as his favorite person starts the car and pulls out of the driveway.

Received a bad report card today.

Fuzzbrothers getting back into metabolic, mental, and spiritual harmony. This has to be done regularly to keep things running smoothly.
