I was struggling to make a jump from my warm up toy to the next size up and realized maybe it was too big of a jump. About a month ago I decided to treat myself to Yet Another Toy™ in-between the two sizes. I can almost swallow the new toy whole now 😈

I think the pinching is due to the curve vs flat bar between the two rings, and not so much the thickness of the gauge. The locking PA doesn't allow as much rotating or sliding, so it ends up pinching more as it gets pushed around. I don't think there's a fix for this but wearing baggier pants 🥺
