I was looking forward to opening up the house as it's so much cooler than yesterday but the southerly carried the smoke from the Victorian bushfires up here, so it's another day in a closed up house (& I know that's a small price to pay compared to the people in Vic that are affected by the fires).

I knew it would be too hot to cook so I made gazpacho this morning. It didn't photograph very well but it was delicious.

Just went outside. Do not recommend.

First Christmas lunch ever without seafood. The weather was much cooler than usual so we had a roast, it was nice for a change and not having to wake up at sparrows fart Christmas Eve to go to the fish mongers was definitely a bonus.

Well I think that's a first...one of the neighbours is mowing the lawns...on Christmas Day.
