Need to decide what horror games I'm playing this October for spoopies. Undertale is spoopie, right? I may review movies over the month on stream. It all depends on how much time I devote to horror shit.

The real reason I want to pull off from social media is because being online fucking sucks assholes during Trump years. It's like being in a dive bar regular, but then summer hits and every weekend warrior comes in, pisses all over the furniture, and sings "Piano Man." So. Sure

But yeah. I may skip out on posting art for a few years and then kill myself at some point. I hate the idea of even remotely having to interact with people, and no one likes this shit anyway. No sense in it.

Every time I get on Twitter to promote art, I really just end up wanting to be dead. People are so fucking awful and irredeemable. They're monsters. I just want to live, make some art, and feed my cats, but knowing the world is run by animals makes suicide an imperative. Despicable cesspit fucks.

I draw horror creatures and waifus in October. Submit anything you'd think might fit. I might draw it. Note: Not requests. Just suggestions for subjects. And, yes, from movies too.

Life is getting exponentially worse each day. Socially, personally, and especially politically. I'll never not advocate suicide as a genuinely good idea. There is nothing good about life as it is now. Every day is just a constant stream of awful news forever and ever until the end of time.

I think I may actually be medically, psychologically delusional in a very classic, not in touch with reality sense. Maybe it's classic arrogance, but I at least think my drawings are somewhat in the lower above average range, but they always elicit negative reactions. So fucking frustrating.

Lectured that I had to come back to social media because I need money to live, but I coincidentally popped back in when everyone's lost their fucking minds again. I get lectured a lot about this "Needing things to Live" bullshit. And I'm like, "But what if I stopped living instead?"

Silksong bosses have active social lives because they always bring their 48 other friends along. I miss good boss fights. The game has a handful, but most are just mobs.

Drawing from realism makes your stylized drawings better as it helps provide a good foundation of form, structure, and heft. But it's actually, 100%, not your end goal to be realistic. You don't ever have to be, ever. Real life is boring and art is fun, but being knowledgeable makes fun better.

I had a nightmare where my cats were all rotting, their stomachs split open, and their organs oozed out. So that's a sign I should get some emergency commissions together to get Fancy Feast for this dumb shit cat.

My final take on Silksong is that it's not remotely as good or fun as Hollow Knight. This is the kind of game a modding community makes. It's very similar, it deviates very little from the actual source material, and it has no actual fun. Very tedious. It plays a lot like being stuck in traffic.

But yeah, all in all, I like Silksong but I feel like killing myself with all these Boss + His Friends fights. Come on, man. Did they lose their creativity or something? All this development time and these gang fights are what the came up with? Sometimes, sure, but it's most of the fights so far.

Silksong's other immediate problem is that I am frequently fighting bosses with minions and other enemies accompanying them. I hate that in any and all of the Metroidvania combat focused games. If the boss can't stand on their own, you made a bad boss. Otherwise, fantastic, but god damn.

Silksong relies so desperately on flying enemies and I have to say it's really straining my last fucking nerve.

Spending September grinding and learning to actually draw. In a few weeks, I may open a small commission window since I need money to buffer my bank account from being overdrawn (pun). October I draw horror things all month, so I may run polls specifically for those. Patreon or free, who cares.

Gesture is so fucking incredibly important, I can't even begin to state that enough. There are these artists I see who have it all figured out, technically. I'm jealous that they know so much they don't need to even question their work. But they might as well be drawing blocks and cones. Lifeless.

All my commissions come from social media, but social media does nothing but make me want me to kill myself all day, all times, every moment. So, fuck it, guess I'm done with art. Just hang around and die. What a fucking awful thing to be attached to, to live. Social media fucking blows.
