the good news is my back is feeling much better this morning, even though it's far from 100%, and that is such a huge relief I can't even begin to describe it.

There's something soul-crushing about seeing a friend moving on, thriving in a new environment, and knowing they're never looking back at you again. I'm happy for them, but I miss them so much. I miss the friendship we had. But more than that, I need to stop torturing myself over it.

Sometimes there are moments I can just *feel* the hyperfixation slipping away and it makes me kind of sad. Like, I don't want to artificially prolong it either, but I can feel the fading away with Veilguard now, and I guess it's good I got a year with it at least.
