Brake master update #motosky The broken one got refunded and now we spend a bit more on a known brake manufacturer, Nissin, the same brand as our calipers

Faulty Refund #motosky It seems that the brake master I bought was a dud, the bracket for the lever snapped off and the seal was leaking, so we got it packed and returned while we wait for the refund, in the meantime we'll be using Tesco's braking system until we have a new brake master bought

Azul Saga: Almost complete (and a little shop promotion) #motosky Went to our relative's shop to fit the new braking system for Azul since he's nearing completion, there's only a few small details left to put in

As for the painful part of installation, I had to cut off the bottom section of Azul's headlight cowling to fit on the new fender and eliminate the 2 holders for it in the process, but the bolts on either side works well on their own especially with it resting on the new fender #motosky

Azul Saga: new fender! #motosky I've successfully (and painfully) installed the new front fender from the modern 125 variant, the brackets line up surprisingly, I wonder if the modern headlight cowling fits too

Tomorrow if the fender arrives, I'll take pictures of Azul For now here's a few pictures of something special, A Vespa Sprint S 150 The owner got it for Php 250,000 and a total worth of upgrades around Php 500,000

Is this what they call a scammer? #motosky Some people like to flex their big carb by removing the panels, I like to be secretive I've also found out the fuel supply problem on this carb, it was the fuel shutoff valve, it was too small for fuel to flow freely now it's straight to the carb

Fleet Update #motosky With the ongoing fuel prices skyrocketing to new heights due to the war, there's gonna be some changes here 1. Tesco is now being put to storage until further notice and parts 2. Azul will now be the current project and daily driver as for now 3. The RS100 will be on standby

Azul is alive! #motosky Finally got the gasket between the crankcase and block now Azul feels slightly more powerful with just the 53mm block and modified head from Tesco Still not sure what to do with the carb side, maybe just a slight increase to 24mm

Well, that didn't go as planned #motosky I warped a dowel pin on the stock block intended for Tesco and I tore the base gasket between the cylinder block and crankcase for the 53mm right after the shops closed for today

I have a question #motosky Would it be wise to switch the 53mm block and cylinder head from Tesco to Azul and the stock from Azul to Tesco? A vice versa if you will, but keeping the carburetor on their specific chassis (28mm Tesco / 20mm Azul)

Azul Saga: SPOKES INBOUND! #Motosky We cancelled the last order of spokes and ordered from a different seller that has the same style, might take a few extra days to arrive here And here's what they look like in person (the shop has the wrong size but correct color)

Azul Saga Update #motosky The spokes are still not being shipped out, within 2 days we might cancel it and order from a different seller I've also moved the side mirrors more towards the outside so I can actually see past my arm

Azul Saga: New Controls #motosky The handlebars and the side mirror holders arrived first, put them on with temporary grips once I figured out how to take off the other one stuck on the old bar, I also swapped Azul and Tesco's seats for better seating position on both Next set, rims soon

Tesco's Top Speed Update #motosky Recently finished modding the carb putting different jets, and a bigger ported manifold, Tesco now reaches 120 km/h and still pulling, only reason I backed off is because the roads now are too short

Throttle Situation Resolved? #motosky On another note, I managed to fit a quick throttle on Tesco, it fits great apart from the really long cable and super stiff twisting, but it does return really fast

Speedometer Chaos #motosky So earlier i did a top speed test on Tesco, the speedometer is just a cheap analog that's inaccurate but... I maxed it out past 160 So I'm either still under 100 km/h or I went past Azul's 110 km/h record I need help finding a way to measure the speed accurately
