Hunched in front of his typewriter with horrible posture that he will regret one day. He's actually writing for once. An old interview that he never got around to typing up.

"Well, for one, my effervescent company." He responded, propping his chin on his hand. "Other than myself? I've got... Fifty cents. A candy bar..."

It was tempting to remind him that he was just drinking his blood. So yeah, a horror. It was also tempting to melt into the touch like he does every single time. But instead, he shook his head. His eyebrows furrowed as he tried to word what he was thinking. He could just think it, but ━

"I... you...." It's as if every word flew out of his head. He stammered over his words, struggling to string a coherent sentence together. Maybe he should find a new profession. He's not very good with words after all. "You're just... a fucking beautiful horror! I can't believe you're real."

It's strange without the fangs. Without the sting. A different sensation altogether; it almost feels like a kiss. Maybe he'd write about this afterwards, write down the differences in all of the times he's been drank from... But for right now, he's focused on Armand. Eyes ━

There's always an eye of the storm. Maybe that's where Daniel is right now, pressed in the vampire's arms and floating on cloud nine. He tries to say something. It comes out as a garble of unintelligible sounds. Huffing in annoyance, he tries to think it instead, but his thoughts are sluggish ━

Daniel tries valiantly to answer. One little peek in his brain would show the start and stop of a hundred different thoughts. But any time he tried to form words or comprehend the words said to him, those thoughts turned to liquid, slipping through his fingers. He managed to get a weak grip on ━

He'd wrapped a towel around it, but apparently hands bleed a lot at even the most shallow of cuts. Who knew? He nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the vampire's voice. "Uh... Well, this is a kitchen." He said while glancing over his shoulder. He even tried to mimic Armand's deadpan tone.

Good. Then they can be a fucked up little duo. ... Speaking of. He might want to come in the kitchen. Because Daniel actually /did/ get injured; but by accidentally cutting himself while getting food. Would be a shame to let this blood go to waste.

He's barely clinging to consciousness when Lestat pulls away. He lets his head fall into the touch and lets out a soft little sigh. He likes this. When he's lost a lot of blood and his mind can't be as loud as it normally is. With the added vampire blood, ━
