I believe this was to fundraise money for my cat's recently (then in 2023) diagnosed #diabetes. It was very expensive and I didn't have enough money for the vetsulin and the syringes after all the vet bills. I was able to meet the goal. She has since passed. I remember adding heatbond to the patches on the carpet using a cardboard box bc I didn't have any more space on my desk in 2021. This is the most patches I've made in one go. Each hoop held 2 patches. Ran 54 minutes per hoop. My single needle hobby machine was working round the clock! #patches

This is THE first thing I tried to digitize into a #patch when I first got my #embroiderymachine! I remember being so overwhelmed that I cried bc I broke 10 needles in a row! 2021 was a big #frog year. I made a frog with abs, a mushroom glass pipe, and hot flies. It later on went to be part of a cake with flies around the sides. Also I made titty shark patches trying to figure out how to use water soluble stabilizer for the edges. #handmadeplush #oldart

I can't find many pictures of the pink demon (2021) I tried to remake from the last post, but the reason I struggled so hard was because I was using crushed velvet mochi fabric. I didn't know the difference between minky and mochi at the time. It was incredibly stretchy and barely held it's shape!

Still uploading some of my oldest plushies from when I tried to pattern stuff myself. They're all so wonky, but crucial for me to see the progress I am making. I baked polymer eyes and painted them with cheap paint. The wings were very sharp bc of the mylar inside. This is from 2020!

My anthro moth from 2020! I built a wire armature, left space for an led light box to fit inside the chest cavity, put mylar in the wings for stability, made an eye mold, poured resin, and pretty much handsewed the body draped over the form, machine sewed the deets on the antennae and the wings!
