I’ve been extremely paranoid and scared every single day at work that I’m going to be laid off. I was laid off 2/3 past jobs. My current job just laid off 18 people last week. Living in this anxiety and panic 24/7 is awful

Picked out our wedding bands! Fiancé was lucky and the physical one in store fit perfectly. Mine had to be sent out for resizing. I’m so excited and can’t wait to wear it in 9 months 😻

12-24 inches of snow this weekend. Yikes.

Very proud of myself. It’s been 1 month and I haven’t given any of the cats a crumb of food outside of their prescription diet. 2/3 boys had urinary blockages. They all get prescription wet & dry food for life. Nothing else. It was my fault I was feeding them other crap that caused them to block.

Went back to the doctor! Behold. My sinus infection that I had back in November never fully cleared up. So it resurfaced… along with a respiratory virus. 4 medications. Hopefully I am back to normal soon. I am starting to forget what it’s like to not be sick 🤡

Tested negative for Covid, influenza A & B. No clue what I have. Just a ridiculous respiratory virus I guess.

I was sick for 3 weeks end of November into December. I’m now sick again. I was never like this. Ever. I believe it’s all because I started a new job 10/6 and it’s a small room with no windows. 4 desks. Temp is always 75. It’s a damn Petri dish.

Definitely lost my sense of taste. That sucks! Made Mac and cheese and garlic bread. Both taste like plain mush. 😞

I think I have the flu. Cold symptoms. Plus throwing up. I hate it. No medication is working either.

Just a random note. I love not having kids. We’re both in our 30s and on days off we just go do stuff. Wanna go to Gettysburg? Sure. Wanna go to a restaurant 2 hours away? Let’s go! Wanna go to Atlantic City this weekend? Yea! It’s so nice.

Fiancé is running to the store and asked what I wanted. I love that being an adult means I can just randomly eat ice cream cake whenever I want. 😸

Good night from Casper. He’s been home 3 days now from his stay at the emergency vet and seems to be doing okay. We’re proud of him🤍

I feel terrible. We’re supposed to give Casper his meds every 8 hours. We’re both gone about 10.5-11 hours. I’m just panicking.

Picking up Casper. $3,200 total. We have pet insurance but still with the deductible and 20% were still paying about $640 but not as bad !SO HAPPY to have Cassie back

Missing him so much. I feel so lost without him here. He will be able to come home tomorrow afternoon from the ER as long as he pees & urinalysis comes back clear of crystals. He’s probably like what in the world is happening to me. 😢

They did unblock him. Crystals in urine. Kidney & blood work look good. He just has to pee on his own and he’s good to come home Tonight or tomorrow morning. I miss him. And the vet praised me that I caught this early. On strict script diet now like Pumpkin. NO other food or treats.

My poor baby. I came home with an empty carrier. He’s staying for 24-36 hours so they can unblock him, give fluids, tons of meds, and catheterize until he pees on his own. I knew what to look for because we’ve been through this twice with Pumpkin.

All I can say is thank the lord Jesus Christ I have pet insurance. 2nd cat now with urinary blockage.

CASPER HAS A partial Urinary blockage. 😭😭😢he eats pumpkins prescription food to prevent this exact thing, and drinks a ton of water. WTF MAN

So I’m starting to panic that he’s blocked. He’s in box and not peeing or pooping. Idk if it’s constipation or blockage. We already have 1 cat with a history of blockages and other things we don’t need another. There’s no open vets either within 45 minutes of us.

Now Poe is probably gonna have diarrhea because I was scraping the jar of pumpkin puree into Tupperware to put the rest in the fridge and he was head first in the container going to TOWN 😹🤣

Casper will not eat the pumpkin puree. Poe and pumpkin, who don’t need it…. Love it.

I made a vet apt tomorrow afternoon just in case we need it. But hoping the pumpkin puree does the trick and he’s better tomorrow.

You all are so great!! 🩵 I Ordered some plain organic pumpkin puree on Instacart for Casper. Should be here momentarily. He’s sleeping. Feed it to him on a spoon or mix it in with food??

We think Casper may be constipated. I don’t think he’s blocked. He’s a really good water drinker and has no history of any urinary issues. Eating and drinking fine. Doesn’t seem in pain. Any thoughts or advice?

I got here (work) at 630 because if I leave any later it’s hell getting to work. It’s nearly 4 pm. I’m still here. Still have another meeting. If I could afford to quit this job I would. I absolutely hate this. And no I don’t get OT I’m salary.
