Just got home from work. Mailman yelled at me to clean out my mailbox. (Aggressively too) I said Sorry me and my fiancé are gone 10-11 hours a day dude. And most people around us WFH or are retired. We get to the mailbox when we can…. What an idiot. 🫨

Idk what’s going on but my finance and I are getting sick off random foods from the grocery store. Frozen, Fresh, all of it. I was vomiting last week. He’s up now with it. It’s so bad.

We spent over $12k on Pumpkin. Diagnosed with FIC & FLUTD 3 yrs ago. Took awhile to find the right daily anxiety med & med to treat flare ups. Even tried a radiation procedure. Prescription food for life. Most people would’ve resulted to you know what. But We never gave up on him. And I’m so glad. 💙

Company put a stop on the check. Reissued it. I’m supposed to get it Saturday. I do have tracking this time. We will see. All the junkmail and everything else shows up. But the one thing I really needed goes missing! 😿

I guess I’m just never getting my PTO payout check. They claim it mailed 10/16 (from 15 mins away). I reached out to corporate. They’re investigating it with the bank. I have yet to hear back. Just insanely frustrated. This is $1,500 I need.

My last payCheck is lost in mail. I’m still running on 1 week of pay issued on 10/10. I’m just about out of funds. 2 bills come out in the next 2 days. They’re making me wait until Friday & then will put a stop on the check & reissue. I’m beyond upset.

1st week of new job conquered! Wow was it a lot. But very good company. The nicest people too.

I truly don’t know how people drive 45 mins or an hour home from work. Pick up kids. Go to sports. Do homework. This. That. Make dinner. 🥲 I come home from work and am a literal vegetable the rest of the night.

First day of new job tomorrow. Nervous!!

Today being my last day at work is bittersweet. Everything is empty & cleared out. (Going out of business) there’s nobody left. Maybe 7 people. I’m glad to be taking a mini vacation this weekend and then starting a new journey Monday. Scared, nervous and full of anxiety though.

Oh boy. The drug test I just took tested slightly positive. I am not on any hard drugs. They suspect it could be my Prozac causing a false positive. Lab will contact me to send my prescription. I was so so embarrassed. 😞

Job offer letter is signed and sent. I feel good knowing I secured something! I start the Monday after my layoff date too. We came close there friends! 😅🥲

My advice right now for anyone that has a job, do everything you can to keep it. Seriously. The job market absolutely sucks right now. Unemployment is climbing. I’m so lucky & grateful I found something before my layoff date but I see so many people searching for months.

My start date will be 10/6 due to background check, drug screening etc. my layoff date at my current job is 10/3. So by the skin of my teeth I won’t have to go on unemployment.

Friends, I got the job. Offer letter will come Monday morning. 🤍 thank you for all the good luck. It seemed to really help.

Final round went extremely well! It’s what I’ve been doing for 8 years but Not sure if I’d like the industry, but it’s a job. And I need a job before 10/3. I can always look for something else afterwards. Fingers crossed!

Final round interview today at 4 pm with the VP. Wish me luck! I am against the clock here! My last day at work is 10/3.

My layoff date is October 3rd. If I can’t land something before then it’s going to be brutal with no health insurance & unemployment that’s 38% less than what I take home a week. I’m just in a depressive state sorry friends.

I love that I went through interviews & was offered a job 8/20. Sent benefits & details 8/21. Radio silence. Offer rescinded due to time zone 8/25 but Told there may be another opportunity I’d be great for & they’d be in touch last week. More radio silence. I give up. Extremely heartbreaking.
