Spent Saturday at Foothills Medical Centre after an ECG had my doctor concerned. An anomaly showed up in the lower portion of my heart. Blood tests came back clear — no heart attack or muscle damage. Peak health for my age. Huge thanks to the team at Foothills. Canadian healthcare at its best.

Both @adolwyn and I gifted our Air Canada flight crew Starbucks cards again — a small thank-you for their energy and hard work. They were genuinely delighted. One kindly offered me a free gin and tonic, which I declined — it was our gift to them, no strings attached.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints on other platforms saying the Sportsnet+ app crashes around eight times a day. I’ve had CBC Gem for a year now & haven’t had a single issue. I pay $5.99 + tax/ month for the ad-free option. Just a heads-up: live events still have ads, but replays are completely ad-free.

Canada’s well known guardian of the skies and land. The Cobra Chicken or as it is more commonly known, the Canada Goose. This one’s in a stare down with me. It was a draw in the end.
