A little motivation and a little bit of humour.

I was watching old speedpaint videos I used to watch while drawing this and--- Wow, that's just from a different artist.

I was out of it when I made this.

I'm getting a little self-conscious about my music skills, and thinking that I'm not made for that since I can't hear what I'm thinking (that's anaduralia for ya). Oops..

Here they are! A lot of photo edits and treats I found this week, which hopefully earns me a break. You may use them freely!

Okay I redid the poster. Sorta.. The original looked uncanny to me.

I swear my Coraline fixation is so bad I'm going to post a new project of me recreating The Other Mother puppet. If that ever happens, I think Laika will come after me.

She has no mouth for an amazing reason. [WIP]

I've found many things in my journey. These are a few highlights. At least I have a reference for the full body of The Other Mother. Although the quality isn't good I might need to recreate it.

Haven't animated walk cycles in forever, so it's a tad off. Animated this on Pencil2D, with 9 frames. More animations of her coming soon! I'll focus more on expressions (facial and body).

Took the time to make this wallpaper from the living room in #ParaNorman, hopefully I didn't waste my time to replicate an image that already exists (unlike my other photo edits). Use this freely for your own projects relating to ParaNorman.

Ough this week was too long, and it's been shit to me. Thank goodness it's Thursday, and I have a few ideas in mind animating wise.

Currently having a banger Valentine's. Finally got my fav album as a CD 'cause I want to. It's humourous to hear rock/metal in a room full of vintage, cutesy stuff. It gives off the vibe of "This is grandma's secret interest/hobby."

These specific Coraline posters give me the worst ick. They give me such an ick I wanna recreate these when I have the time.

Was bored out of my mind so I sketched out my previous characters or ideas. I like my gal, Justa6 (image 1 & 2). No, I'll never give her a proper, human name;we're gonna stick with Justa6.

Drawpile highlights that I did with my friends. Caught another trend so I quickly sketched up that one before I'd forget.

Made another Coraline wallpaper, this time it's the wallpaper in the sewing room in the beginning of the film. Yes, if you remove the shit-ton amount of green, it looks... Somewhat normal..

Had a bit too much fun with my friend with this Coraline stuff. Now he's interested in Coraline and this... World-building we've made.

First chapter of my Second Chance A.U. (1/3)

Only now, after being fixated on Coraline for two years, this line finally gives me chills. Also I still can't figure out why The Other Mother paused before Coraline locked the door. I feel like she would've freaked out when she had her hand chopped off.

I really wanted to find a full-body, high quality image of The Other Mother you specifically find in those collector DVDs. Then I remembered I can make it myself, so I did.

I was told that I talk like an AI and now I want to kill myself.

Okay I drew it and now I want my own huge crack in the wall where never-ending arms protrude out and help me with tasks. It has so much potential, I'm gonna continue world-building it in my free-time.

After getting my ass beat for drawing The Beatles, I don't know if I'm still allowed to talk about them.
