Partner is at her course, I have the house to myself. What debourchery did I get up to? Had a nap.

Spent the day with my mother-in-law, just the 2 of us, driving her to and helping with her shopping. Had a lovely day, getting to chat with her, without anyone interrupting. She wants to take me clothes shopping. I’m exhausted now though.

It wouldn’t solve all my problems, but I think my life would improve if I found a wealthy man who was happy to have a trans woman in her fifties as a slightly incomptent housewife.

Am I an arsehole? My partner was watching Labryinth, a film we both love, and has cheerfully just explained to me how it is an allegory for underage date rape. It is my birthday. I have depression. Can’t I have 1 day away from trauma? Can’t somethings just be fantasy and whimsy?

This is the first birthday since covid that I’m not in Barmouth, and I don’t like it.

Since excepting I am trans and coming out, I’ve experimented with several hair colours - red, purple, and blue. I love the blue, but only being able to get actual blue as semi-perminant is a pain. Wednesday I dyed my hair copper/ginger and it is fucking brill!

Today hasn’t been a good day, and I don’t think tomorrow will be either.

A manic 30 minute break from work, tidying up, seems to have helped my mood and sore shoulder. I’ll have to remember that.

A cisgender female colleague messaged me today to see if I thought the new clothes she had bought were okay for work. I thanked her for asking, saying it gave me a buzz of gender euphoria. To which she replied, you always wear cute things to work. Riding high on a wave of #GenderEuphoria now 🥹😁

It’s only 7:30 and I’m thinking of going to bed. I’m sure it is nothing to do with the mug full of gin amd tonic I drank.

So far, I like my new office set up. Also, don’t have to travel into head office for 2 weeks! Yay!

2 weeks off work is at an end. I haven’t had a relaxing holiday, have spent the whole 2 weeks working on re-arranging the house - moving furniture and stuff, redecorating, fixing stuff, smashing stuff. It has been very satisfying. While not finished, I’m pleased with what I did in the 2 weeks 😆

My and my partner’s relationship is what many call a May to December relationship. Currently one of us is out at a proper meal with a friend’s family. The other is sat on the lounge floor eating chips and HP sauce in wraps. I’ll let you decide who is the grown up 🤣

I don’t do christmas, so using this time of work to re-arrange the house. I have a transgender related question arrising out of that activity. Is there a number of swords you own, that becomes too many to still be considered a trans woman? Asking for a friend.

I wonder if I should confess to my partner that I’m not a human but really a fae, able to mess around with reality, space & dimensions! She mght notice that the room absolutely packed with books, furniture, with very little floor space last night, has lots of floor space, & nothing removed from it.

Partner has had a crap day thanks to her piece of shit half brother. So I got her sushi for dinner to cheer her up. I ,on the otherhand, am feasting on mince pies, crisps, small oranges and nuts, because I’m a mature grown up 🤣

Emptied and moved 4 bookcases. Dismantled the old bed. Had lunch. Now got to move a cupboard and a shelf unit of board games. Then I can build the new bed. And start putting some things back so this looks more like a bedroom than a storage unit!

The chaos gremlin has been home less than an hour and I’m already missing the peace of the last few days.

I’ve carried 2 armchairs upstairs. Been to Screwfix to pick up some bits for house. Enough adulting for a while, sat on the floor eating toast.

Just waiting for it to be afer 9am. I have a wall to finish destroying.

The first year I decided to opt out of christmas, I spent the day watching all 3 extended Lord of the Rings movies back to back, eating chocolates and cake. It was marvellous. At the start my family kept phoning to check I was okay until they realised I was having a better day than they were.
