Took these shots last week in week one of our football season at work. Been working a lot harder at being a better sports photographer and excited to continue to grow.

I’ve really never given this space a shot, using it only sporadically. Thinking that this week, I might use it exclusively and really get to know it better.

Busy work week. TGIF, indeed!

We have entered the busy season at work. It’s now a sprint to the finish as we enter regional playoffs and Spring Fling in Murfreesboro. Lots of sports fields and courts in my future.

It is hard not to believe this series is not at the very least 2-2 with a fully healthy squad. Or at the very least with two players who weren’t undercut driving to the basket. But we in the 901 will roll with our Grizz, no matter what.

The Grizzlies season is likely coming to an end today. And the rebuilding for next season will begin shortly after that. I don't have any idea what that entails, but I will trust those in charge of making decisions and will continue to proudly wear the bear.

Let's be honest, NFL fans are wrong more times than they are right about their team's draft picks. The player they complain about their team drafting is the same one they have a jersey of four years later.

The best part is that I have a really tall fence so the neighbors would simply see the top of a penguin head. 🤣

Did I just come home, climb a ladder and use this break from the rain to clear the gutters on my house in my work clothes because I didn’t know how long we had until the next downpour? Yes. Yes I did.

This is a multi-day event. Tonight was the focus due to the level-five warning, but there is a chance of severe weather tomorrow afternoon, evening, and Friday. As of right now, I think those are Level 3 of 5. And flooding is going to be a story. Stay weather alert and safe, #Memphis.

Weather here in the Mid-South is going to be interesting (to say the least) from tomorrow evening until Saturday evening. Definitely a time to make sure you’re ready and following reputable weather peeps on here.

I am home after a long day. I cleaned up the house, and now I am just sitting and relaxing before heading to bed to wake up and do it all again. But damn I love what I do.
