Ep2 of Sky Portrait Artist of the Year and again there was so much talent! I’m in awe at how quickly they can work and how much of a likeness they can get 😍🙌🏻

This was a good exercise in hand / eye coordination, you should try it and see how you do. Turn the horse pic upside down and on another pad try and draw it in a continuous line without looking at your drawing hand! I was quite surprised at mine when I turned it round 😃

Last night at art class we had to draw a continuous line drawing from an upside down line drawing without looking at our drawing hand. Harder than it looks but I was surprised at the result! I might post it later for comedy purposes 😂

Art used to bring me joy as a kid but haven’t done anything since. Been wanting to get back into it recently & did my 1st watercolour last night using cheap paints. Friends have been so supportive & encouraging so am going to get a proper set of paints & brushes and continue. Watch this space! 😃
