At what point did the idea of the traditional “movie star” die? I think it started after the first Avengers. That’s when it moved from the start being the main focal point to the franchise.

As I read through Death of the Family for the first time, I just do not like New 52 Joker.

I feel Taken kind of ruined action movies in the early 2010s and they didn't really come back until the first John Wick came out in 2014. This is excluding the MCU. I'm just talking about the base action genre.

Just finished Batman: Streets of Gotham and it was alright. Dini really tries his artist to make Hush an interesting character, and if you like Hush, you'll probably really like this book. Much like his Detective run, I felt it started really strong, but lost a lot of momentum as it went on.

One of the worst, most forced types of connective tissue in a comic book movie was making the JSA a Waller strike force. It made no sense whatsoever.
