Another meeting with my physio on Tuesday. Hoping he gives me the all clear to start running again

Knee has been sore this week. Might have pushed a little too hard too soon. Got a disapproving look and grumbles from my physio.... hopefully it's not gonna be a setback

Hopefully the ginger idiot has learned a couple of lessons here

Probably because dying fish have better personalities and more warmth

It's too easy when one of them finds it really hard to trust people

Though how awesome can she be when he's neglecting her to hang out with fish?

I swear to God recovery is getting tougher and tougher. I just wanna push and do stuff that I'm told I shouldn't be. I'm slowly going crazy

Watching football while I keep up my exercises on my knee and strengthening my leg back up

Still building up muscle, still working on ensuring I have full motion in the knee. Still probably six weeks to go before I can start to run on it. If it wasn't for the people at the gym, I'd be going out of my mind right now

I think pacing myself is gonna be the most difficult, especially with no one really around to hold me back. And with my release it's not like I can go hang out at a show and remind myself why I gotta stay patient

5 weeks out, physio is happy with my progress. Can't start jogging for probably another 7 weeks. Gonna start seeing a shrink to stop me going crazy during this process and try to keep me disciplined while I stick with the process

As soon as I get the greenlight, I'll be doing a lot of "cleaning"

Almost 4 weeks out from surgery. Getting to do more exercises, still being careful to protect the graft as I do and still building up to having full range of motion and bend. Recovery is on progressing very well, even if I do feel like I'm going a little bit crazy

3 Weeks since surgery, walking okay, building up strength in my leg. Still getting physio to help my recovery and keep me in check to stop me trying to go too quick too soon

More work today to build up strength in my leg. Hardest thing for me is gonna be making sure I dont rush and cause myself a setback

Knee is feeling good on my first full day without crutches. Still doing physio. Still working to get back to 100%

Doctor and Physio happy with my progress, happy for me to use the crutches less #Milestone

Physio happy with the range of motion in my knee at the moment and that my quad activation is going well. Assured me that if I keep this up my knee will be healthier than ever

Another physio visit in the books, they're pleased with my progress and routine

By the time this recovery is done though, I'm gonna be even more of a beast than I was before

This is gonna feel like a very, very long recovery

First physio appointment today to check on progress and make sure I'm doing what the doctor told me

Surgery went well. Get to go home with a leg brace, crutches, some great painkillers and a long list of doctors orders that have to be followed to the letter. This recovery is gonna suck

The ACL has finally given up the ghost and fully torn this time around. Confirmed by MRI. Surgery next week

Waiting on some precautionary tests on my knee after it buckled and sent me face first into the gym floor this morning

Feel like the last 2 1/2 years of my life have been wasted

Most eliminations this year and a new record sees me unemployed....which isn't a surprise tbh

Last year @itsjakechandler.bsky.social passed me over to give his girlfriend another shot after Sofia's interference and I got nothing till the almost obligatory Sydney Christiansen match. This year Jake will probably pass me over to give his girlfriend first refusal

I tied for most eliminations last year. That and five bucks got me a Starbucks ....the only thing that I see changing in 2025 is the Starbucks will cost me more

Tomorrow I'm bringing with me a 2 big ol case of deodorant - 1 for the boys, 1 for the girls - and spraying anyone who asks for a photo before they have to stand next to me

I got no problem with getting paid to stay home most Saturdays rather than most Tuesdays
