It’s such a weird contradiction my extremely catholic family, who are extreme conservatives. If you ignore what they say, and just look at their actions. Housing refugees and migrant workers. Caring for the ill. Voluntarily paying reparations. Acts of service They are good people, one on one.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but a 3% vacancy rate in Vancouver means that every rental takes 1 month to rent out? …it doesn’t feel like that’s high enough to really impact rental prices.

I’m heading to children’s hospital with my daughter for the only support for needle phobia VCH offers. An appointment in a room where nothing happens, a desensitization experience. My kid needs a blood test, vaccines and eventual surgery. This is all that is offered to help get us there.
