The social consequences of a divided society is brought to light by the songs on this new Bill Toms album. Through the eyes of an aging rocker, “It’s All We’re Fighting For” tries to make sense of uncertainty, without letting go of hope.

Tyranny is when -All power is given to the Executive Branch of govt -When a leader gives law enforcement (ICE?) the power to take people off the street. No judicial review, or due process. -Intellectuals are deemed as being the enemy. And the leader now will dictate what is taught in schools.

German fascism in the 1930s, embodied by the Nazi Party, was a highly nationalistic (Make America Great Again?) authoritarian (only loyalists?), and expansionist ideology (Canada, Greenland?) that rejected democracy, individual rights, and equality (DEI?), ultimately leading to a totalitarian state

Remember when Russia was the enemy “Red, white, and blue”, hard core, star spangled, gun totin, Bible thumpin’, flag on the back of a pickup truck Americans are unconcerned that their current administration has allied itself with the worlds largest dictator lead, authoritarian countries.
