Week 32- #MovieChallenge 2025/ 9. Bound (1996) - crime thriller starring Jennifer Tilly & Gina Gershon, where JT want to run away from her mobster boyfriend (Joe Pantoliano) to be with GG. Fantastic movie

Week 32- #MovieChallenge 2025/ 1. Vivacious Lady (1938) - Ginger Rogers & Jimmy Stewart star in this charming screwball comedy. Fantastic chemistry between the two stars. And Ginger Rogers brawls with another woman while still looking flawless

Week 31- #MovieChallenge 2025/ 4. City of God (2002) - finally watched this Brazilian film about the rise of organized crime in one suburb of Rio between the late 60s-early 80s, loosely based on real events & people.

Week 31- #MovieChallenge 2025/ 3. BlacKkKlansman (2018) - Spike Lee film loosely based on Ron Stallworth’s memoir about infiltrating the KKK in Colorado in the late 70s. Upsetting how nothing changes in the US

Week 31- #MovieChallenge 2025/ 2. Missing (1982) - Loved this! Sissy Spacek & Jack Lemmon star in this Costa-Gavras film based on the disappearance of American Charles Horman during the US-backed Chilean coup in 1973.

Week 31- #MovieChallenge 2025/ 1. Running on Empty (1988) - I picked really good movies this week! A couple (& their 2 kids) are on the run from the feds due to an antiwar bombing in the 70s. Loosely based on the Weather Underground leaders’ Sterling Hall bombing.
