I think this is the primary factor, tbh. Trump is sui generis in his ability to conduct US forpol as a personalist whim-based affair. Second is the Qatar strike, which may have presented the same opportunity for Harris or another Dem. And third is Netanyahu turning Isr govt into a GOP auxiliary.
