Just finished Heartstopper S3 (with a day’s break between E5 and 6 to read Solitaire) and now openly weeping at the fact that there are kids and teenagers out there who get to grow up with this kind of visibility in popular media 🥹 representation is so important. Feeling seen is so important.

Introduce yourself with some jobs you’ve done apart from what you’re doing now 1. Soft play attendant (at Wacky Warehouse for those who remember it) 2. Terrible waitress in a tiny village pub 3. Corn maze scarer (very recent, will 100% be repeating) 4. Various call centres (various levels of awful)

Day two of YALC and the Bloomsbury stall completely shifted all 400-odd TART samplers. Here’s a photo of the last one 😳🍓

Day one of YALC was surreal. Not only was I absolutely surrounded by fellow YA enthusiasts but I got to sign copies of my debut novel’s chapter sampler 😳🥹 gearing up for day two! 💕🍓
