YouTube was most of my daily video consumption and now they changed their app and it just makes me... so sad. Having to restart the app to even be able to pick Home or Subscription feeds is ridiculous.

The new Cummoner chapter is mostly written, partly storyboarded and I have the sketch for page 1 done. Should start this Friday on the Patreons and Tuesday on the website!

Just saw The Incredibles with our kid, one of my all time favourite animated movies. I'd feel bad about having him watch a peak movie at 5 years old, but fortunately we still have Mononoke and Akira for when he's older (probably no younger than 10).

I think I just broke the Cummoner website by mis-clicking something while a plugin updated and I need to run out and pick my son up from preschool. The site might be out for a few hours, sorry!

Can I please remember, that when I felt shitty and burned-out for several days, what pulled me out of it was writing a few really dumb jokes? I could use this information in future. Also, I should write more dumb comics.

So like I mentioned, I'm working on the site, moving to a different comic plugin. Most of the comics are currently broken and I'm waiting for an email if I can fix them automatically or if I need to do it manually. Either way they will be back soon (a day or two tops) totempole666.com

An FYI: I'll be working on the website this week to transition to a newer and supported comic plugin (Toocheke). One reason is security (old plugins might have some holes), other is a slight refresh of the site and making a landing page that won't be showing a gape on home ;)

Another Paris visit was Ijii Papeterie- I got a new notebook cover as a souvenir.

I had a chance to visit La Musardine today - a fantastic adult bookshop with erotic books and comics! They are the ones publishing my digital comics in French! The shop is well worth a visit if you're ever in Paris! Who knows, maybe someday I could find my comics in there too!

I do my art-work on an iPad, so every time I go on a trip (like tomorrow) I make a big backup of all my stuff (I'll post details in another post) just in case I break or lose the tablet. Always gives me a feeling of safety ;)

Let me gush about the Witch Hat Atelier anime some more. The animation is amazing - each episode seems to have little moments of character animation that are super-moving. Sometimes it's a bend of a body, sometimes a draping of cloth, it seems lovingly crafted.

I'm in love with the Witch Hat Atelier anime and I'm finding it really hard to not go and read the manga right now to get more of it.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU! Reposting to spread the word. It was making me insane, and the thought of adjusting my workflows to account for it made me consider changing apps.

Any Clip Studio users able to help? Lately when I pause when drawing a line (on the ipad), the app changes it to a straight line, like some weird shortcut to the line tool. It's driving me nuts when I sketch and try to decide on things. Can't find anything in preferences, disabled all long press.

The site is back up- on a new server, too. totempole666.com I had to reinstall some SSL stuff, so it shows up as https, but Not Secure- this should clear up soon (it did for my other site).

Five years ago, my buddy Jan Mazur and I created a comic book called "The Last Writer". It's a sci-fi dramedy about a novelist during his trip to Saturn. It was nominated for Best Polish Comic Book in 2022. We would love to publish it outside of Poland, so if anyone is interested just DM me :)

If you don't know the game- it's an adventure platformer with a gender-swapping witch where changing sex can help solve puzzles (and get a dick in you or your dick in someone)
