Every year I make a little count of all the stuff I made. This year it's over 177 comic pages (counting The Cummoner, Ad Asstra and my SFW comics Necros and In Stitches!), 4 podcast episodes (24 in December, but I count them as 3 big ones) and 4 paper books published. Also bought two bass guitars.

I've been quiet, but busy. Still packing, signing and shipping a ton of Cummoner books, also sliding deeper and deeper into my 2025 midlife crisis. Got another bass guitar- an inexpensive 5-string to try out the idea of a wider range. Also started my journey with linux, which is a rabbit hole.

One of my favourite little details in animation are different characters doing the same thing. A good example is traversal, where each hero would jump a gap or evade an obstacle in a different way, befitting their fitness, body build and personality.

We finally saw Kpop Demon Hunters! Loved it. I wish it was a full musical, but I recognize not every movie will be a musical until I'm actual king of the world. I don't "get" the kpop/idol/star theme, but it didn't stop me liking the movie. Though I probably missed a few juicy jokes or winks.

I'm back from our family sailing trip! Vacations are still on for the little one until the end of the month, so I'm still not quite free to work normally. Life is difficult but good. I bought a fretless bass and I love it.

Switching from Death Stranding 1 to 2 is tough. Story is full of kicks in the gut that make me uninspired to push on, more emphasis on combat is unwelcome and the controls feel sluggish and slow. But that's also good, because I don't get sucked into the game as much! Back to work.
