Another day in the life of a 26 YO technical cofounder. Today I worked on improving our matchmaking algorithm that assigns people to their closest matches when they attend our events. It just makes it so much easier to connect with people when you have something in common

Typical day in the life of a 26 YO technical cofounder. Started with some meetings, focus work, gym session, & then some more work till bed time. Didn’t get to work on user-facing features today, but we are focusing on streamlining operations which will enable us to focus on higher leverage tasks.

Consistency beats perfectionism. Posting for the last 20 days showed me that I do have time to make these little videos documenting my journey. I just need to lower my standards while still trying to provide value.

Making time for my health and friends. Can’t work 100% every day. But at the same time, can’t balance everything everyday and expect to make significant progress on any particular area. Strive for balance over the long run, not day-to-day. #startups #techstartup #buildinpublic #startuplife

We still do things that don’t scale. At an early stage startup we think that’s okay because if we didn’t, we wouldn’t even be here right now. By going to every single one of these events, we’ve learned so much by talking to our users.
