Really enjoyed #KillBillTheWholeBloodyAffair. There’s definitely a rhythm to it in seeing the whole story at once that feels more like a complete experience, vs. watching it as two separate films. There are subtle changes and omissions that feel larger in this context.

Rewatched #MissionImpossibleTheFinalReckoning last night, and dammit this movie is still incredibly enjoyable. If this really is the last in the franchise, it is a damn near brilliant ending. . . surprisingly silly in an almost Looney Tunes kind of way that doesn’t break the serious tone.

Definitely enjoyed Edgar Wight’s take on The Running Man more than the original. It’s tough when you know the source material doesn’t play it nearly as safe by the end, but after The Long Walk, I’m not sure if I mind. The cast and the action were solid, so I’ll give it points for that.

I had never seen the original Running Man before, and decided to check it out last night . . . Even by 80s Schwarzenegger standards, it’s kinda rough. This is arguably some of the worst dialogue of any of Arnie’s films, an inexcusable flimsy plot, and kinda cheap.
