Maybe you've noticed more road and gravel frames do not support mechanical drive trains. Well, I've heard SRAM is going to push this further by introducing their own one-piece carbon stem/handlebar which will only accept internally routed cables. Only brake lines? Maybe.

Checked on the price of a June 2026 gravel event in the Flint Hills of Kansas. $345.00 for 200 miles. A $50.00 increase over last year. Guess that'll help pay for those 200 mile finisher jackets, eh?
