I have withdrawn from classes this semester. As much as I really like school, it just isn’t feasibly realistic right now.

So… I know it’s been a while since I posted, but I’ve been bummed out emotionally. I need to take out a loan for school and classes start in a few days. I had to take a moment, to clear my head. My advisor was adamant about the loan instead of giving me options for grants.

In my local boba shop working on the next steps of my business. Started 2 business accounts with #carverbank sometime last month. Right now I’m working on my logo/banner for each of my socials. It’s just one logo, but I’m trying to figure out the design.

I am so hurt right now! I had just finished #Romance. I had JUST finished him, when my youngest accidentally spilled my paint water across my table. -.-‘ so upset. I couldn’t even get a picture of him complete. This was after I removed the water. #ruinedsajaboy #kpopdemonhunters

Here is my completed painting of #Juni and the start of #Romance. The background is watercolor, while Jinu is painted in #Gouache. His nose gave me such a hassle to attempt to get the angle, it’s still off from the original pic. Also made his face too short. #kpopdemonhunters #sajaboys

I’ve been busy and out of my house so I couldn’t respond to messages or get to post anything for the past few days. I’ve finished my painting of Jinu WAY early this morning, because I can’t sleep at normal hours.

Here is one of my five new W.I.P. paintings. It’s a mixed media painting with #watercolor and #gouache. I can’t seem to get his nose correct and I think I made his face too short, even after extending it. The song Your Idol plays in my head, on loop, daily. #KPopdemonhunters #Sajaboys #Jinu

Already planning for next month when classes start back up for me. I have a meeting with my student advisor tomorrow: I will be taking figure drawing and plan to add perspective to be at half time.

I had been planning to record the last #watercolor painting of my #skillshare class, but it just isn’t the right time to set up my camera and stand. I need to organize my space for the set up to fit the area where I work.

This experience has given me ideas for my own characters moving forward. I learned a lot this month, with #artfight, #worldwatercolormonth and the use of gouache for most of the OC's I've done this month for art fight.

Here is my last picture I did for #artfight for artfight.net/~Captain_bar... She came out really rather cute. I botched her nose accidentally; my hand moving faster than intended. I really like the way she came out, background as well.

#artfight has come to a close! I enjoyed joining the "battle" for the first time this year. I managed to do eight pictures, though I missed out posting one of the eight I thought I posted earlier. I'm so miffed with myself for not realizing I hadn't sent her in.

#day29 of my #watercolor class on #skillshare. Title: Seaside Evening I had to do this one twice, because I didn't like the way I finished it... and I accidently did it in gouache. I didn't like the way I did the grass, so I repainted to remove it. I like this version better.

#Day27 of #watercolor study on #skillshare. Title: Glowing Sunset I need to do a study on clouds, other than that I Love this one. The turning sky, the colors and shadows.

#day25 of my #watercolor study class on #skillshare Title: Sunset by the Beach I don't have much of a critique on this one. I really like the way I painted this. The colors, the shading, reflections, even the wet sand. I just really like this. And them i touched it with a painted finger. Lol.

#day24 of my #watercolor study on #skillshare Title: Sand Dune. I can in no way call this prefect, but these last few are definitely the favorites category. I think I put too much water on the darker side of the large sand dune, and the angle for the one in the back is wrong. Otherwise, a favorite.

Here goes #day23 of the #watercolor class I've been taking on #skillshare. Title: Opera Clouds I don't really know how I feel about this one. I like it but... idk. I think I made the furthest mountain too dark. It was meant to blend in better with the sky as if to fade in the distance.

I think I am going to redraw my OC on my art fight account. I really don't like the way they look, outside of the fact that they are kind of old drawings.

Here is the completed picture of my next attack on #artfight for artfight.net/~sorrelite I was stuck with which medium to complete her in; in the end she is a mix of ink, watercolor, and I believe accents of acrylic (paint markers). We really should get the option to alter the preview pictures.

#day22 of the #watercolor class on #skillshare Title: Cloudy Blue Sky I LOVE these clouds!!! I really like this picture all together, but these are my favorite clouds I've painted so far. This was a wet on wet reverse or negative painting technique.

The children are off to sleep away camp, as of this morning. It was hectic getting everything together, but they are gone for the week! Back to our regularly scheduled program… I such a dork.

I just started this spring. Planned timeline is two years. I’m currently doing part time, so will be longer if I don’t decide to go full time later on.

Here is my next attack on #artfight. I’m debating on coloring this one, but this paper doesn’t take my pencils well, and I use prismacolor.

So, I did a thing. I told myself I was NOT going to buy one of these. I was never expecting to find one of these where I live. I’m WAY on the upper side of Manahttan, in Harlem. Why was this thing just staring at me when I left the bank. So… I bought a Labubu, I just couldn’t not. It’s so cute.

Today was an interesting day. I took my youngest daughter out for sushi and boba. She convinced me to stop at the art store to get her something… and I walked out with another sketchbook. I went to check on my business account b/c my card wouldn’t activate and… and… I did a thing.

Today is #day19 of my #watercolor paintings I've done following a class on #skillshare. Title: Orange Sunset I don't have any particular negative things to say about this one. I like the colors, and it came out looking okay.

Speaking of #watercolor, here is mine from the #skillshare class I've been taking. Title: Foggy Meadow I have no qualms with this one. I really like the way this came out especially the posts and grass. I think from this point on, most of these I really, REALLY like.

Here is the official prompt list from the #worldwatercolormonth 's website; incase anyone wants to join in. I plan on completing it, but I plan on completing #inktober every October. Well see how far I manage to get with this one.
