Normally I would feel despair coming down the mount, but my soul is filled with so much gratitude and love for the Lord at this moment I cannot feel despair, just hope. The Lord loves us so much and he comes to meet us in the form of bread for the salvation of the whole world.

Today I celebrate 7 years of sobriety. Breaking the chains of addiction has been quite a journey full of ups and downs. But I thank God every day for the gift of sobriety. I pray for all those in recovery and those still struggling with addiction, recovery is possible!
